modern Carisa attended a special design magnet high school where she studied design and fine arts. Like
Andrea, you may have seen some of Carisa's work on the television before, with screen credits including "Green Card," "Rosa and the Executioner," and "Mattie Fresno and the Holoflux Universe." After working as a scenic designer for four years, Carisa is actively pursuing her passion as an interior designer by attending the Fashion Institute of Technology in NY.
Carisa has always been obsessed with interior design. Taking a more humanistic approach to design, Carisa believes a great space can change peoples' lives and wants to spend the rest of her life creating great spaces for people. On her list of people to meet, she'd shake hands with Rosa Parks, Picasso and William Shakespeare. She's a Taurus, likes the movie "Goonies," and ironically doesn't watch tv.

Jan. 31st
| Too many pillows - but she clearly led the team effort and her style influence was the strongest. | The judges agree! |
Feb. 7th
| Much stronger design than last week - but again with the red and green AND PILLOWS, is she the Santino (more ruffles! more feathers!) of Top Design? The bed/desk combo was great, as was the rope swing cluster. | The judges also liked this week's design, but expressed concern over sharp table edges in a kids room. Especially where rope swings are involved. |
