Winning Room: Carisa, Matt, Michael

What the Judges Said:
Jonathan Adler thought that the room was well-layed out. They weren't thrilled about the margarine-colored ceiling fabric. Carisa had to take the fall for it, and she also took the credit for the overall design. Matt disagreed, but Carisa told the cameras on her own that "That design was mine."

Matt got props for keeping the peace and managing the project, which won him Top Design honors. One of the ideas they had was go-go dancers, but they opted for having Doc Holiday as a bouncer, which sealed the deal for the judges. The guests at the party preferred this room 3:1.

Carisa was unhappy with the "cabbage" that Michael put into the flowers. She complained that all he did was arrange flowers and didn't help with the overall construction. Kelly Wearstler asked if they were all high-fiving each other when they were done designing, or if it was just Michael and Matt high-fiving. The answer was pretty obvious, and it looked like Carisa might get eliminated for not playing well with others.

Losing Room - Andrea, Goil, Erik

Andrea, Goil and Erik were on the chopping block for many reasons. Margaret appreciated that the design was out of the box. Andrea picked out red furry flowers that Margaret thought was an odd choice.

The lattice-hell that was the entrance ended up being the end of Erik who constructed it. Jonathan didn't like that there was a lack of editing and analysis in the overall strategy.

The bottle-towers were originally supposed to be chandeliers, but according to Goil, Andrea changed his idea. Jonathan was not pleased that Goil let his team walk all over him and change his ideas. Goil ended up breaking down and crying in the waiting room while the judges decided who would go home. Goil confronted Andrea, who looked shocked that Goil was so upset. We'll see what she says about it next week.
