For their luxury hotel rooms, the designers were influenced by one of the following: "Water," "Fire," "Earth" and "Air."

Top Design - Matt	Matt's take on what "Water" meant something clear and said that he is a "floor snob," which ironically was the only part the judges had a problem with. Kelly gave it her blessing by saying she could hang out "for hours." Margaret mesmerized by wall color and accessories, but didn’t like the rug color. When asked which competitor was standing between him and earning the end title of "Top Design," Matt said "nobody."
Sent home: Goil	Goil had Fire, and the judges were not impressed. Kelly said he had nice layout. Jonathan Adler said that it seemed like he was so focused on backwallback-wall area that it sucked up most of his time and that this doesn't look like a luxury suite. Margaret said Goil needed to think about the bigger picture, and was too theoretical about "Fire." Jonathan Adler said that he applauds Goil for his weird ideas.
Andrea	Andrea had "Earth." Jonathan Adler said Andrea's rooms tend to be a little gloomy. The judges agreed that a good color green would have helped. Kelly liked the bed, and the judges didn't like the bench. Margaret said the grass was impractical. Margaret said that it didn't look like Andrea had a consistent plan.
Carisa	Carisa had "Air." She interpreted that by adding what looked like air vents on both side walls. Jonathan Adler said that he color, confidence, and happiness which was refreshing, and he kind of dug the screen. Kelly told Caris that housekeeping would hate her if they had to clean all of those vents, but she liked the curtain. Kelly said Carisa came a long way from last week. Jonathan Adler said that Carisa knows how to make bold statement in small amount of time.
