Heather's journey into design was different from most of her competitors. After moving to LA, she became employed as the restaurant manager at The Standard hotel. Heather heard that there was an opening in the hotel design department, and she convinced the owner to the job to her. She flourished in the position due to her background in building construction and the natural ability for design. In addition to her design work at The Standard, Heather also worked on the Los Angeles nightclub Privilege and a wine bar, Tosca.

Saying Heather is passionate about design is an understatement. She's focused on interior design due to its ability to affect many.
