• Todd opposes the use of animal fur in fashion, and is dedicated to utilizing only synthetic materials in his clothing and interior design. This "pet" cause has made him a valued celebrity member of PETA.

• He designed his first dress at age 15, constructing it by stitching together some pillowcases from K-Mart.

• No one can say the guy's not unique -- fans of his appearances on House of Style's "Todd Time" segments may recall he taught his acolytes how to dye their hair with Kool-Aid and wallpaper their dorm room walls with contact paper and photocopied pictures.

Originally a couture fashion designer with stores in New York City, Oldham has become celebrated as a translator of American style on a broader scale, evolving diverse graphic, interior, and product designs for everything from dorm room furnishings for Target to a line of LA-Z-BOY furniture to flowers for FTD, as well as principally designing major hotel projects. Through hosting "Todd Time" on MTV's House of Style and consulting on fashion for NBC's Today show, Oldham as become a beloved icon of popular design. He is also the author of Handmade Modern by Regan Books, and has hosted a series of specials on the theme for HGTV's Handmade Modern series.
