Who got kicked off:
Our little gargoyle got kicked off. The judges said he got too theoretical with his design and missed the big picture of what a luxury hotel room is about. Goil was definitely NOT ready to go. Goil said "I feel like I’m the only one who consistently can put my heart out there." It hurt the judges to do it, but they all felt like he fell short this week. Awwwwww.
Who Won:
Matt won. And each designer admitted in the white room that Matt was the designer standing between them and winning the Top Design. He's good natured. He's the only one who tries to be funny. So we give him "Top Funny" for the week too.
Extreme Design Challenge:
Todd told the designers that they needed to create luxury suites for travelor’s needs. Each designer was to pick up a card which represented either Fire, Earth, Air or Water, and decorate the room according to what card they chose. They were given a budget of $35,000, and 3 days for the challenge.
Carisa chose Air, Andrea chose Earth
Goil chose Fire, and Matt chose Water.
Surprises
Matt's carpenter grazed his thumb with a saw and had to be sent to the ER. He was back shortly, though, so the wound couldn't have been too bad. We're glad that his thumb is still intact, but the previews really made it look like someone lost a limb. They really need to stop getting us so excited during the previews.
Cat-fights:

Goil -vs- the inner Goil. Goil has certainly been having some struggles for the last few weeks, mostly with how he feels inside.
We'd give it to Carisa for fighting with her carpenter again, but we're tired of giving it to Carisa. She's won this honor almost every episode, and we decided that she doesn't get to win anything this week.
Show Highlights:

Since there really isn't much drama on this show, we sadly have to give this one away to Kelly's hair. Let's hope there's more fighting on "Shear Genius."
