THE DESIGNER'S EVENING:
A HAPPY-HOUR EVENT
This event was created especially to introduce designers to the work of Rita MacDonald. Since graduating from The School of Visual Arts in 2000 with a MFA degree, MacDonald has been exhibiting and installing temporary and site-specific wall drawings. Using a combination of wall plaster, paint and colored pencil MacDonald reinterprets patterns by hand-drawing them and adding motion and depth through manipulation. MacDonald's work enlivens and transforms any space into a unique one of a kind work of art. Available through commissions, MacDonald works closely with each client to insure that the installation is a sucess. Click here to view more work.

Hendershot Gallery is a project of James Hendershot. His other projects include: JH Artist Group, an agency that represents commercial photographers, motion graphics makers and animators and JH Productions, a production company for film and still photography as well as marketing and branding events. Hendershot Gallery was created as a way to showcase the work and talent of emerging and mid-career artists through group and solo exhibitions.
